Meet The Grower
My name is Chesny and I am the face behind Red House Farm Flowers. Hugely passionate about flowers and nature, I started my growing journey four years ago now.
When we moved into Red House Farm we inherited multiple greenhouses, which I upcycled and began filling with my tiny seedlings. I started dabbling in growing flowers and before I knew it I had more flowers than I knew what to do with!! That was when the obsession began. Red House Farm Flowers was born and it felt like a dream come true sharing my beautiful flowers than I had grown with you all. Seeing them be appreciated and loved by others is such an uplifting feeling after many months of nurturing and hard work being poured into each and every bloom. Thank you for your continued support to me and my small business.
Our Work
With nature in mind, each process is carefully considered when growing the flowers here on the farm. We do not use any chemicals or pesticides, we prefer to let nature do its thing.
One of our main aims is helping to improve the quality of the soil and working closely with the microbiology within it. We use the no-dig method here at Red House Farm and are keen on performing other sustainable farming practices. We compost all of our green waste and recycle and reuse as much as we can.
We try to minimise the use of plastic where possible and all of our bouquet wrapping is either biodegradable or recyclable.
Our Flowers
Passionate about British blooms, we grow beautiful seasonal flowers that haven't had to travel long distances, keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible. We do not use any chemicals to treat and condition our flowers. Zero pesticides or fungicides are used here on the farm, so all of our flowers are pollinator and wildlife friendly.
We adore the natural look when it comes to our floral work. We create bespoke floral arrangements which are all lovingly cut, conditioned and arranged by hand. Each piece of art work is beautiful and unique with no two pieces looking the same. You may not find complete uniform perfection when it comes to our bouquets but you will see they are each carefully chosen and arranged with love and admiration for each and every stem - wonky ones included!
